Save the Heartbeat is Excited to Announce our Website Launch!
We are thrilled to announce that our website and online store have officially launched! Through our son, Remington’s, battle with congenital heart disease (CHD), it has been put upon our hearts to fight for those born with this deadly disease. As a result, we have formed the nonprofit charity, Save the Heartbeat. The road that led us here has been a long one with a lot of surprises around every corner, but we are ecstatic to begin giving back to the CHD community.
In order to raise funds that will go toward improving the lives of those affected by CHD, Save the Heartbeat teamed up with jewelry designer, Tony Bashoura, to create a customized heartbeat jewelry line. Every necklace and ring is handcrafted using only the highest quality diamonds and 14K gold.
100 percent of proceeds from our online store will go to various institutions that advocate awareness, early detection programs and quality of life for those that are battling congenital heart defects. If you’re not interested in buying from our store but still want to help, visit our donate page, Save the Heartbeat is happy to accept donations of any amount. For more information about our charity, visit our about page.
I’d like to give the biggest thanks to the following people for helping Save the Heartbeat get up and running:
To my Husband, Jonathan, for being my number one supporter and encouraging me to follow through with the vision of founding a charity to give back to the community that loved and supported us from the moment we began our battle with CHD.
To my entire family, for being the best support system I could ever ask for through all of the craziness that has been Remington’s story.
To Tony Bashoura, for helping me bring this beautiful jewelry line to life, and supplying our shop [hyperlink] with the heartbeat necklaces and rings that you see in it.
To Lani, for helping build our website.
To Carlee Dochterman, for providing amazing graphic for our website.
Save the Heartbeat is dedicated to all of the amazing heart warriors who have fought and continue to fight the battle with CHD.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23).
